Filling Machines

Six Head Gear/Peristaltic Pump Filler

The two four six head gear pump filler is a fully automatic machine which fills a pre-select amount of product into a container. Gear pumps are available in 5 litre, 10 litre, 17 litre and 35 litres per minute, based on water at ambient, excluding cycle time (containers stopped via a pneumatic cylinder under filling nozzles, fill procedure nozzle extract container release). The filling accuracy, product being filled and the container size will determine the correct size gear pump to be used. The machine is manufactured entirely in stainless steel and non-ferrous materials.

The bottles enter the machine on a conveyor; a pneumatic gate system allows the containers to stand under the filling heads and keeps the rest of the containers isolated on the conveyor line. The filling operation then starts to the pre-set count. Each filling nozzle is fitted with its own positive shut off valve, which shuts off the product flow once filling is completed and prevents excess dripping. The machine is fitted with a short stroke diving system.

A product hopper tank is supplied with the machine, which is pneumatically controlled by means of modulating valve or probe or mercury switch.

  • PLC Controlled
  • Fully automatic
  • Full diving system to reduce foam in certain products is optional
  • Positive shut off valves
  • Neck Gripper / Drip Tray is optional
  • Filling speed depends on size of container / bottles and viscosity of liquid / product

2 or 4 Head Table Top Pneumatic Gravity Filler

The hopper of the pneumatic gravity filler is fitted with 4 light action filling valves, which operate under gravity. The liquid level in the product hopper is controlled by means of an optional float ball valve. The filling machine is manufactured entirely from stainless steel and non-ferrous metals and is custom-built and tested at our plant in accordance with your requirements.

The containers are placed onto the Pneumatic lifting filling platforms by hand. The filling valves are actuated by the containers and therefore have a built in no bottle, no fill function. The target level in each bottle can be individually controlled by adding or removing valve spacers. The valves fill to a constant level measured from the top of the bottle.

For different bottle sizes or heights, the filling platform can be adjusted up and down. With this system, a constant filling volume is obtained over the whole filling range. Filling speed is dependent on product viscosity and operator efficiency.

The filling machine is manufactured entirely from stainless steel and non-ferrous metals.

DXGF 16-16-5

The DXGF 16-16-5 Tri-Block integrates rinsing, filling and capping on one machine. Counter-pressure filling technology is utilized to make this machine suitable for carbonated drinks. Empty bottles are fed into the machine via an air conveyor. The bottles are separated and fed into a star-wheel.

A rinsing carousel grips bottles from the star-wheel and inverts them through 180º and a rinsing media (supplied by the customer) is sprayed into the bottles. The rinsing nozzles are specially designed to eliminate any dead corners inside the bottles during rinsing. After leaving the rinsing section, the bottles continue to move upside down for a while to drain excess water before reverting back into the upright position.

After rinsing, the clean bottles are transferred to the filling carousal via a transfer star-wheel. Bottles are pre-pressurized by the CO2 from inside the ring bowl where after the filling valve is opened and the product will flow into the bottle. The filling level is determined by the length of gas-return pipe. Different lengths of gas-return pipes can be used to achieve different filling levels. A Sensor is used to detect that bottles are present and incorporates a no bottle no fill principle.

Bottles are transferred from filling section to the capping section via a transfer star-wheel. Caps are orientated in a Cap Unscrambler installed on the top of the Capping machine and fed down a Cap Chute to a Cap Feeding Plate. A Pick and Place system is being used and the capping chuck collects the caps from the capping plate and screws them onto the bottles. The capping system also incorporates a no bottle no cap facility. Adjustable magnetic torque heads are utilized to apply constant and precise torque to the screw caps. These torque heads are maintenance free. A Cap Feeder feeds the Unscrambler with caps when required and is controlled by the machine's PLC.

The machine is controlled by a PLC with touch screen. A variable speed drive controls the speed of the filling machine and is adjustable to suit requirements. All material that has direct contact with the product is made of food grade ANSI 304 Stainless Steel.

PC Pump Filler
